The 4th ARRIMA draw happened but still no CSQ's issued

On September 25th, 2019, a 4th round of invitations under the ARRIMA portal was issued for candidates who previously applied under "Mon Projet Québec" and had submitted a declaration of interest in the ARRIMA portal. Candidates that have an accepted validated job offer also have a chance to be invited, regardless of previously having submitted a Mon Projet Québec application.

According to Immigration Quebec, these invitations from the ARRIMA portal will allow the invited candidates to submit an application for permanent selection in order to obtain a "Certificat de Sélection du Québec" or "CSQ" within an average processing time of 6 months. The candidate then has to submit a federal application for permanent residence in order to obtain the status of a Canadian permanent resident.

Previous invitations

Since July 4th, 2019, there has been 3 previous rounds of invitations, all of them selecting candidates with previous Mon Projet applications or those with an accepted validated job offer.

August 19th, 2019: 444 invitations

July 17th, 2019: 259 invitations

July 4th, 2019: 691 invitations

Which candidates receive an invitation?

Invitations are being sent to the following applicants:

1. Applicants who applied for a CSQ under Mon Projet and declared living in Quebec at the time of the submission of the application.

2. Applications who applied for a CSQ under Mon Projet and are living in Quebec today.

3. Applicants who have a validated job offer in Quebec.

How far are the applications currently processed?

At this moment, we have not seen any reports of candidates receving a CSQ under ARRIMA and the Quebec Skilled Workers Program yet.

Some candidates have received a request to provide their documents (document request letter), which means the applications are indeed being processed.

Applicants who have a validated job offer should technically have their applications prioritized. We will only start to know more about the processing time once the first CSQs start being issued under the program, stay tuned!

Deadline to submit a declaration of interest

For candidates who previously had a Mon Projet Quebec application, the deadline to submit a declaration of interest application in ARRIMA is December 16th, 2019.
